FAQs:

Do you have a physical location?
In Sarasota yes, in Las vegas no.
We have a lovely facility in Sarasota and From 2005 until 2020 the Whisky attic had a beautiful tasting room located right off the strip in Las Vegas.

In Las Vegas we now bring our knowledge, passion and experience directly to you at your location.

 

Do we get to pick what we drink?
Each experience is bespoke, thus we consult with you prior to your arrival and determine the ideas behind the whiskies for your educational tasting.

If you would like specific products in your tasting, we are happy to assist in creating your perfect lineup. We recommend, however, that you allow us to work with you  to create the optimum tasting experience within your prescribed budget.

Is Pappy included?
We have done many tastings with the famous Pappy Vanwinkle bourbon, if you would like that specific whiskey at your event, we are happy to discuss options for you.

I don’t like Whisky do you have other options?
On property the experiences are focused on whisky.

When we attend an event, we provide the specific beverage the client has requested. we do like to encourage that the event provide options for everyone.

Can you do more than just Whisky?
Happily, We have done events for wine, beer, sake, tequila, cognac, and any other alcoholic beverage.

Not all of us like Whisky is there a charge for non-drinkers?
Our rates are generally based upon an up to number, we do love helping non-Whisky drinkers find something to enjoy though. So please come and talk to your educator and let them guide you to a potential new favorite.

Can you help us get a venue in Las Vegas?
Yes.

We are always happy to assist in finding you the best venue for your event. We are also happy to run points on communications with them in regards to the beverage program of your event.

Do you offer gift certificates?
Yes!

A private whiskey tasting event is a fantastic gift!

Is there a fee for you to travel?
We do have rates established for events requiring travel. That rate will include airfare, hotel, per diem, and transportation costs.

Do you offer military/first responder discounts?
We always respect the work of our first responders and active duty military. Generally, we show our appreciation through additional drams.

Do you have merchandise available for sale?
Yes.

We have retail merchandise, and, if you were looking for something specific for your event, we are happy to discuss options.

Do you allow filming?
We love still photography during our events, when it comes to filming our methodology and experience are proprietary so we ask that no filming is done during the educational portion of your event.

Do you offer refunds?
For on premise tastings in Sarasota and to confirm an any event we require a minimum 50% nonrefundable deposit. in the event cancellation, we are happy to honor that deposit on a future event within 1 (one) year of the deposit date.

How large of a group can you handle?
On premise up to 25 in Sarasota.

We have done events of up to 10,000 people, so there is no size we are uncomfortable with.
